Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced that Pak-Saudi relations are experiencing significant growth, with bilateral ties becoming stronger each day. Speaking to media in Islamabad, Tarar highlighted the recent developments in the relationship, emphasizing the frequency and significance of meetings between the leaders of the two nations.According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently held an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his visit to the Kingdom. This marked the fifth meeting between the two leaders in just five months, underscoring the warmth and mutual interests shared by both countries. The Minister revealed that Saudi Arabia is poised to invest billions of dollars into Pakistan's economy, with several projects already initiated, including the establishment of petrol stations by the Saudi company Aramco.Further discussions are underway regarding the launch of Saudi Arabia's fast-food chain, Albaik, in Pakistan. Tarar pointed out that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regards Pakistanis as brothers and sees no limits to Saudi investments in Pakistan. The Saudi leadership has also expressed satisfaction with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team's dedication to implementing agreed-upon projects and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).The Information Minister mentioned that more delegations from Saudi Arabia are expected to visit Pakistan, potentially leading to increased investments and bilateral trade. Additionally, both nations have consistently supported each other during challenging times, strengthening their bond further.During Prime Minister Sharif's visit, he conveyed his best wishes to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and both leaders agreed to enhance bilateral investments and trade. Furthermore, the Prime Minister presented Pakistan's viewpoint at the water summit and discussed the Indus Water Treaty, showcasing the broad scope of collaboration between the two countries.
