Pak, KSA agree to activate JTF to share public security expertise

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to activate Joint Task Force to learn from each other’s experiences in public security domain.

According to an official report today, the understanding was reached during the meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Bassami in Riyadh.

Mohsin Naqvi said both sides can benefit from the experience of each other through enhancing cooperation in the field of police training.

He highlighted that Pakistan is raising a Special Protection Unit for the security of diplomats. The Interior Minister was apprised that a system has been developed to control crimes and traffic accidents through artificial intelligence.

Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi visited various departments of the state-of-the-art Public Security Headquarters and Saudi Arabia’s Safe City Center.
