Islamabad: Trade and exports between Pakistan and China have witnessed a significant increase through the Khunjerab Pass, strengthening Pakistan's trade links with international and regional markets. According to Radio Pakistan, a record revenue of 15 billion rupees was collected from imports from China through the Khunjerab Pass during fiscal year 2025-26, compared with 13.67 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year. Pakistan also exported goods worth 2.8 billion rupees to China and Central Asian countries through the pass during the period. Major Pakistani exports included surgical instruments, garments, rice, leather products, carpets, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts.
