Peshawar:An operation has been launched targeting marble factories in Peshawar, Mohmand, and Khyber that are polluting clean water sources.

According to Radio Pakistan, seven marble and chips factories have been sealed in these areas due to their failure to implement proper waste management practices.

Authorities have stated that no factories contributing to the pollution of the Kabul River or violating environmental laws will receive any concessions.
