Acting President, Balochistan National Party- Mengal (BNP-M), Sajid Tarin Advocate, said on Tuesday that operation Azm-i-Istehkam would further destabilise situation in Balochistan.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with former MPA Malak Naseer Shahwani and other BNP-M leaders, he said that resources of the Balochistan province were being looted in the name of operations.
Tarin said apex committee had no status in the constitution, adding that when decisions were taken by apex committee rather than constitutional parliament, it was nothing but a martial law. He said every child of Balochistan and Khyber Pushtunkhwa knew as to who was carrying out the acts of terrorism.
He alleged that operation in Dera Bughti displaced one and half lac people of district Dera Bughti. He said that a conspiracy had been hatched to give special status to Gwadar and Chagai in order to hand over those areas of Balochistan to the federation.
