Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared the complete eradication of “Fitna-e-Hindustan” and its enablers as the state’s “firm and final decision,” linking the nation’s uncompromising fight against terrorism directly to the memory of the Army Public School (APS) martyrs.

In a powerful statement issued on the anniversary of the 2014 massacre, the interior minister paid a glowing tribute to the victims, saluting the courage and supreme sacrifice of the students and staff. He described the assault as one of the most painful and darkest chapters in the country’s history.

Naqvi stated that the brutal attack, which deliberately targeted innocent children, was a direct assault on the future of the nation and exposed the cruel, ruthless face of terrorism to the world. He underscored that the barbaric act solidified a clear and decisive national direction in confronting militancy.

The interior minister emphasized that the blood of the innocent martyrs permanently sealed Pakistan’s resolve, leaving no space for ambiguity, compromise, or expediency in its counter-terrorism policy. This collective determination, he added, prompted the state to initiate comprehensive and sustained actions against terrorist networks.

Reaffirming the government’s unwavering position, Naqvi stressed that terrorism, irrespective of the name, slogan, or flag it carries, is unacceptable under all circumstances. He asserted that Pakistan’s war against this menace will be pursued to its logical conclusion, honoring the sacrifices of the APS victims and the collective will of the people.
