National Party on Sunday demanded of the authorities to immediately remove the names of Baloch Students Organization-Bijar leaders, including chairman, from the Fourth Schedule.

In a statement, National Party spokesman strongly opposed the enlisting the names of BSO-Bijar leaders in the Fourth Schedule and a condemnable act.

He said that such tactics were being used to harass and intimidate political workers of Balochistan, adding that such tactics had not even been used during the worst dictatorships.

The National Party spokesman said that point of view of National Party at any forum remained the same that problems of Balochistan could be addressed through negotiations and table talks instead of operations and bloodshed.

The spokesman said that such steps would further increase the gulf between people and the state. Baloch demanded that the names of all political workers, including the name of Chairman, Baloch Students Organization-Bijar, Buhair Saleh Baloch and other central leaders of BSO-Bijar, be removed from fourth schedule.
