ISLAMABAD: Minister for Power Division Engr. Khurram Dastagir Khan on Tuesday said that currently no large-scale privatization of power distribution companies (DISCOs) is on card, however, efforts are afoot to control power sector losses.
Talking to media persons after the federal cabinet meeting, he said various technical functions including meter reading and collection of bills would be privatized. He said those DISCOs running in losses are not suitable for privatization.
