No grand operation would be launched in Wadh: Balochistan govt

QUETTA: Government of Balochistan has rejected the allegations of launching Wadh grand operation.

According to a statement issued here on Sunday, despite disagreements, the government of Balochistan attached great respect to Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, a seasoned politician of the Balochistan, adding that no grand operation would be launched in Wadh because maintaining law and order situation carried great importance for government.

The statement said that suggestions had been sought from Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, leader of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), on different occasions to address the issue of Wadh, adding that Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal had agreed that two members of his party would attend the meetings to be held to find solution to Wadh crises, but, statement added that representatives of BNP (Mengal) failed to attend the meetings, ignoring thereby instructions of Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, leader of the party.

The statement called on Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal to investigate as to why representatives of his party did not comply with his instructions. Statement said that non-compliance with the instructions of party’s leader pin pointed the losing control over the party.
