HARNAI:Newly elected union council councillors of Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (Achakzai) on Wednesday started observing hunger strike outside Harnai Press Club in protest over deteriorating law and order situation in district Harnai of Balochistan province.

According to reports, protest hunger strike camp was set up outside Harnai Press Club by the newly elected union council councillors of Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (Achakzai), demanding the authorities to take notice of the deteriorating law and order situation, frequent occurrence of theft and robberies and terrorism in district Harnai.

Demanding the authorities to compensate the owners of trucks burnt by unidentified gunmen in Chaperlat area of Harnai on June 26, 2023, they said that a conspiracy had been hatched to deteriorate law and order situation in Harnai. Talking to media, representative of protesting councillors said that protest hunger strike would continue till the acceptance of all demands, adding that artificial terrorism was not acceptable at any cost.
