New KP CM Gandapur calls on Imran in jail

RAWALPINDI: Newly elected chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur has meet with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.

According to a report on Tuesday, Gandapur arrived in Adiala jail to have important conversation with Imran Khan. In this meeting the current political situation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other things have discussed by both leaders.

Imran Khan congratulated Ali Amin Gandapur for being the new chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The security has been on a high alert in Adiala jail during the meeting of both leaders by the jail administration. Imran Khan also gave Ali Amin Gandapur special instructions to make improvements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s province.

During the meeting, the jail administration also heightened the security measures around the Adiala Jail.

Gandapur on Saturday took oath as newly elected Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Governor KP Ghulam Ali administered the oath to Ali Amin Gandapur in a ceremony held at Governor’s House in Peshawar.

Gandapur was elected as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the 106 house, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate bagged 90 votes while PML-N candidate Dr. Ibadullah Khan managed to secure 16 votes.
