ISLAMABAD:The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification to hike the power tariff, according to a report on Monday.

The authority approved an additional surcharge of Rs 3.39 per unit. The consumers are already paying 43 paise per unit surcharge. The additional surcharge will be applicable for 2023-24 and the K-electric customers will also be burdened.
