The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned of heatwave from tomorrow (Tuesday).

According to an advisory by NDMA, the heatwave conditions in Punjab and Sindh are likely to be severe from Thursday till Monday next.

In view of heatwave and its hazardous impacts on health, people have been advised to take precautions and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.

The farmers have been advised to manage their crops and adjust their routines in line with the weather conditions. Livestock owners have also been advised to protect their cattle during extreme heat.
