ISLAMABAD: The nationwide crackdown against the power pilferage is in full swing.
In this regard, cases are being registered against those involved in power pilferage, and efforts to collect dues are underway after arrests.
Between September 1 and October 8, a total of 27,381 cases were registered, 13,621 people were arrested and 17.67 billion rupees were collected.
According to the authorities, stringent legal action is being taken against all individuals apprehended for power theft. They also emphasized that the relevant institutions will intensify their efforts to combat power pilferage.
