(NATIONAL) PTI dismisses allegations against Imran

In response to the press conference held by Senior Minister of the Punjab Government, Maryam Aurangzeb, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh’s Secretary Information and Spokesperson, Muhammad Ali Baloch, stated today that an attempt was being made to create a false narrative against Imran Khan.

In a statement, Mr Baloch asserted that the nation could not be misled with fabricated accusations, adding: “Imran Khan resides in the hearts of the people, so thus false allegations will not make any difference.”

He remarked that Maryam Aurangzeb was speaking beyond her stature, and that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) had played a significant role in dirtying politics. He accused the Sharif family of destroying the country in collusion with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

He claimed that all cases made against Imran Khan had proven to be false, emphasizing that the judiciary was independent and no form of interference could bring about political stability.

Furthermore, the PTI Sindh spokesperson stated that references would be made against the PML-N leadership and Article 6 would be invoked. To cleanse politics of corruption, it was necessary to end the government formed through rigged elections (referred to as Form 47 government). According to him, the PML-N and its allied parties had played a dangerous game, stealing votes under the slogan “Respect the Vote.” He said: “Governments formed through rigged elections do not last long.”

Baloch concluded by saying that the beauty of democracy lied in the opinion of the public, and governments formed through stolen mandates had been rejected by the people. He predicted that very soon, the governments formed through fraudulent means as per Form 47 would meet their fate.
