National – Pakistan Hosts New Year Festivities for CPEC Staff Unable to Travel Home

Pakistani officials have organised extensive Chinese New Year celebrations across the country for Chinese personnel working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) who were unable to return home for the important festival.

The festivities, conducted with considerable fervour at numerous CPEC project locations today, included specially arranged ceremonies, formal dinners, and a range of recreational activities designed for the visiting workers.

High-ranking government representatives participated in the functions, which were intended to honour the Chinese citizens, often referred to as “iron brothers”.

The presence of senior Pakistani officials was a gesture to underscore the solidarity and goodwill of the host nation toward the Chinese nationals contributing to the corridor”s development.
