The 5th meeting of the Board of Governors of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad, has sanctioned the establishment of the National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC).

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi shared that the decision followed extensive consultations with relevant departments to effectively tackle terrorism. He emphasized that the center will be established in all provincial capitals, marking a significant advancement toward NACTA’s core objectives and ensuring the National Action Plan’s implementation.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry highlighted that NIFTAC will be instrumental in elevating NACTA’s operational capacity.
