National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday vehemently denounced the suicide bombing on the Balochistan National Party (BNP) gathering at Sariab Road in Quetta, calling it a cowardly and disgraceful act of terror.

The Speaker mourned the tragic loss of life and extended his deepest condolences to the grieving families. He offered prayers for the souls of the departed and strength for their loved ones to endure the tragedy.

He expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for safeguarding Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Mahmood Khan Achakzai, who escaped the attack unscathed.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that those who target innocents and political activists are adversaries of humanity. He accused “Indian-sponsored elements” of attempting to disrupt peace in Balochistan. The Speaker reassured that such dastardly actions would not weaken the nation’s determination in combating terrorism.
