In the tragic incident of a fire in the village of Haji Wali Muhammad Mangrio in Mirpur Khas, the police have arrested the husband, Venjo Bheel, following the investigation.

A few days ago, in the jurisdiction of Sindhri police station, a pregnant woman named Mariam and her two children, Harlal and Khushhal, tragically lost their lives due to a fire. Under the guidance of SSP Mirpur Khas, Dr. Sameer Noor Channa, SHO Khuda Bux Ranjhani initiated an investigation into the matter.

The police gathered information from the affected family and the woman’s brothers, which revealed that the deceased, Mariam, was frequently beaten by her husband, Venjo Bheel, who also threatened to kill her.

Based on the statements from the family, the police expanded their investigation and filed a case against the accused, Venjo Bheel. In a successful operation, the police arrested the suspect, who confessed to his crime during interrogation.

The accused disclosed that he suspected his wife, which led him to tie her to a charpoy (traditional woven bed) and beat her, resulting in her death. Subsequently, the accused also killed his children and set the hut on fire to conceal the crime.

A case numbered 13/2025 under sections 302 and 436 of the Pakistan Penal Code has been registered against the accused at the Sindhri police station. Further investigation by the police is ongoing.
