Municipal Employees Union Harnai on Wednesday called on the authorities to address all the demands of MEUH, including regularisation of the services of daily wage employees of Municipal Committee Harnai.

It was stated by leaders of Municipal Employees Union Harnai Masood and Sahib Jan while talking to PPI in the protest camp set up by MEUH within the premises of Municipal Committee Harnai. They alleged, ‘Chief Officer Municipal Committee Harnai attends office once in a month merely for receiving monthly salary’. They said that Javed Maseh, Sweeper, Municipal Committee Harnai has proceeded on retirement, but pensionary benefits have not been granted to him.

They said that the services of daily wage employees of Municipal Employees Union Harnai are not being regularised due to unknown reasons, adding that Municipal Employees Union Harnai presented its charter of demands to Chairman, Municipal Employees Union Harnai, but the incumbent Chairman turned a deaf ear to the the legitimate demands of Municipal Employees Union Harnai.

They called on the authorities to address all the demands of MEUH, including regularisation of the services of daily wage employees of Municipal Committee Harnai.
