ISLAMABAD:The administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding in the federal capital Islamabad for 10 days (July 21 to July 30), officials said Friday.
According to the officials, the Islamabad administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding during the month of Muharram for security reasons. Families, senior citizens, journalists and government officials have been exempted from the ban. Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahryar Arif has issued a notification which states that the pillion riding will remain banned in Islamabad from July 21 to July 30, 2023.
