Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chairman, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), directed the party’s election cell to complete the work on constituencies in the cantonment areas.
He ordered the preparations for the upcoming cantonment board elections to be finalized as soon as possible.
This he said while presiding over an important meeting held at the Bahadurabad center of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan, attended by members of the central committee and other officials.
The meeting included MQM central committee members Syed Mustafa Kamal, Anis Kaimkhani, Syed Aminul Haque, Furqan Ateeq, among other central officials, election cell members, and members of the national and provincial assemblies.
A detailed discussion was held regarding the upcoming cantonment board elections. The meeting also considered the changes in constituencies and population ratios made by the government in various areas.
