MQM Pakistan Condemns Attack on Workers; Press Conference Canceled

In a shocking and tragic event, the Central Committee of MQM Pakistan has denounced the murderous assault on its workers in Liaquatabad, which resulted in the martyrdom of Town Member Adeel Ali and left Joint UC In-charge Mustafa injured. The committee described these vicious attacks as part of sinister plots aimed at destabilizing the city”s tranquility. In response, MQM has called for calmness among its members and requested prayers for the recovery of their injured colleagues.

The attack, which took place last night, has led to the cancellation of the scheduled press conference that was to occur today, Thursday, at 2:30 PM. The Central Information Department of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan shared this update, expressing their grief and outrage over the incident.

MQM Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui voiced his profound sorrow over the loss of Adeel Ali Naqvi, condemning the brutal assault on their unarmed and innocent workers. “These cowardly attacks are part of a conspiracy to obliterate the city”s peace,” he stated, emphasizing that such actions by adversaries would not deter the party”s resolve.

Dr. Siddiqui reiterated that MQM Pakistan has sacrificed greatly to uphold peace in the city and vowed that they would not allow the enemy to fulfill their malevolent agendas. On behalf of MQM workers, he extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyred Adeel Ali Naqvi and assured them of shared grief. Additionally, he prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and wished for the swift recovery of the wounded worker, Mustafa.
