Senior leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Central Committee, including Dr. Farooq Sattar, Syed Mustafa Kamal, and Anees Qaimkhani, called on Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House.

According to a statement issued by the Governor House on Thursday, the meeting covered several key issues, including federal cooperation in ongoing development projects in Karachi, challenges faced by traders, unscheduled load shedding, and complaints of overbilling, .

Mr Tessori emphasized the federal government’s full support for the development of Karachi. He highlighted the urgent need for prioritizing infrastructure restoration and development. Additionally, he assured the MQM leaders that he would address the issues of unscheduled load shedding and overbilling with the K-Electric authorities.

Dr Farooq Sattar pointed out that the lack of basic facilities in Karachi is causing significant hardship to the public. Syed Mustafa Kamal echoed concerns about the increasing complaints of unscheduled load shedding and overbilling.
