Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal visited the iSoftStone Information Technology Park in Beijing on Wednesday.

The Minister, along with the Pakistani delegation, was received by Mr Yin Lu, Vice President of International Business Department and Mr Li Chuan, Vice President Intelligent Electronics, according to a press release received here from Beijing.

Ahsan Iqbal had a tour of the headquarters and exhibition area and was shown a demonstration of latest products, services and solutions being provided by the company. He was given a briefing on the company’s business development in Middle East and Central Asia.

Pakistan’s side also delivered a presentation on technology integration in the construction of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The two sides exchanged views on future cooperation in the field of IT and implementation possibilities.

Both sides expressed hope in collaborating to develop innovative digital technology products and solutions. The Pakistani delegation included Haseeb Gohar, Political Counsellor, Khan Muhammad Wazir, Science and Technology Counselor, and Dr Muzammil Zia, Infrastructure Specialist, Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives.
