Minister urges SC to release detailed verdict on Mubarik Sani case

Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain has urged that the Supreme Court (SC) release a detailed decision on the Mubarik Sani case soon, stating that the entire nation is awaiting the detailed verdict.

In a statement issued here on Monday, the Minister said faith in the end of Prophethood is a fundamental component of every Muslim’s belief. He said the true leaders of the faith are the scholars and saints, not those who rebel against the state with arms.

He said to provide a secure future for the new generation, the government, institutions, and scholars must work together, adding that if the scholars convey a message of unity and solidarity, it will have a significant impact and deliver a strong message.

The Minister said we need to stop the misuse of Islam’s name and will also implement the proposals of scholars regarding terrorism. These thoughts were expressed by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, during a meeting with scholars.

The Minister emphasized that the entire nation is awaiting the detailed decision on the Mubarik Sani case and urged the Supreme Court to release its detailed judgment as soon as possible.

He said efforts have begun to consult scholars and leaders of other religions to eliminate terrorism. He said we must escape the fire into which we have been pushed, and we can only do so with the help of scholars and other leaders.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain said the true guides of our faith are the scholars and saints, not those who take up arms against the state. To provide a secure future for the new generation, the government, institutions, and scholars must work collaboratively.

He said scholars and saints have completely rejected the narrative of extremists and terrorists in the country. We must block the path of those who incite people to terrorism by misusing Islam and religion.

He said any person or organization that raises arms against the state is a terrorist. We must unite against the curse of terrorism for the sake of our country. If scholars convey a message of unity and solidarity, it will have a strong impact and send a powerful message.

The Minister said we need to stop the misuse of Islam’s name. Measures will also be taken to implement the suggestions of scholars regarding terrorism. The meetings included Hafiz Farooq Awan from Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, member Islamic Ideological Council Agha Iftikhar Naqvi, Director General of the International Islamic University Professor Zia-ul-Haq, and Maulana Imran Attari.
