Korangi:Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar has proposed the establishment of a 100-acre Mariculture Investment and Development Estate (MIDE) at Korangi Fisheries Harbour.

According to Radio Pakistan, the proposed Mariculture Estate will include modern facilities aimed at enhancing fish farming, hatcheries, research, processing, and value addition.

In addition to these core functions, the estate will be equipped with cold-chain facilities, commercial services, modern infrastructure, and systems designed for sustainable development.
