Military Affairs – Pakistan Army Triumphs with Gold at Elite Cambrian Patrol Exercise in UK

The Pakistan Army has achieved a major international victory, securing a Gold Medal at the highly demanding Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025 in Wales, United Kingdom, outperforming numerous global competitors in a rigorous test of military skill and endurance.

The globally recognized event, now in its 66th year, is considered one of the toughest patrolling tests for military forces. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday, the exercise is designed to assess the professional excellence, stamina, and tactical capabilities of soldiers under extreme field conditions.

Participating patrols were required to traverse a formidable 60-kilometer course through challenging Welsh terrain within a 48-hour timeframe. Throughout the route, the squads had to execute a series of complex military assignments in a simulated combat environment.

This year’s competition, held from October 3 to 13, featured a formidable field of 137 teams representing 36 different nations. The Pakistani contingent, under the leadership of Captain Muhammad Saad, delivered an exceptional performance that earned them the top honor.

The ISPR hailed the accomplishment as a moment of great pride for the nation, highlighting it as a testament to the Pakistan Army’s high standards of professionalism, discipline, and world-class training. The military’s media wing affirmed that the armed forces will continue to uphold the country’s flag high in all international arenas through dedication and excellence.
