Mengal says our daughters in Islamabad will not be left alone at any cost

KALAT:,,, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, leader of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), has said BNP had raised the issue of missing persons for the first time in 2012, but no heed was paid.

Talking to media after filing nomination papers for general election-2024 in the office of Returning Officer, Kalat here on Wednesday, he said that Baloch women reached Islamabad for the recovery of their beloved ones, but regretfully FIRs against them were lodged by the federal and provincial governments.

He said that Governor Balochistan, Malak Abdul Wali Khan Kakar was present in Islamabad, adding that Governor Balochistan would not return until all the demands of Baloch Yekjehti Committee were addressed. He said, “150 detainees have been released while steps are afoot for the release of 100 detainees”, adding, “Our daughters are in Islamabad and they will not be left alone at any cost”. Earlier, upon arrival for submission of nomination papers in the office of Returning Officer, Kalat, a warm welcome was given to him by the party workers.
