ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Education Madad Ali Sindhi chaired a meeting here on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by the Director General Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and senior representatives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in addition with senior officials from Ministry of Education.
Madad Ali Sindhi was briefed by the HEC about the consideration of the Private Members Bill “The Smart Institute of Science and Technology (Amendment) Bill 2023”.
He was told that HEC has been deliberating on developing a service structure and promotion policy for the University Teachers.
The FDE briefed the Minister about imparting training to the teachers of FDE. Similarly, Madad Ali was briefed about the number of students studying in “A” and “O” levels under the Cambridge system in Islamabad at present.
The Minister was told that the current number in Islamabad is approximately 6,000. The Minister directed the HEC and FDE to accelerate the formulation of policy and execution of such projects.
