Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced that a team of qualified doctors, including an ophthalmologist, a cardiologist, and a physician, conducted a detailed examination of the PTI founding chairman at the hospital and declared him medically fit.

According to Radio Pakistan, the prisoner was taken to the hospital under appropriate security arrangements, following the Supreme Court's decision. The Information Minister noted that the prisoner's sister, Uzma Khan, was present throughout all stages of the medical examination and treatment.

The Information Minister further stated that after the completion of the entire process, the prisoner was transferred back to Adiala jail.
