Indian troops have launched a massive cordon and search operation in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Thursday, the operation is being carried out jointly by Indian military and paramilitary personnel at Mohri Shahstar in Gursai Top area of the district.

Indian police officials claimed that the operation was started following reports of the presence of mujahideen in the area. The operation employs advanced technology, including drones and sniffer dogs, with helicopters also deployed to assist in the troops.
