Maryam seeks world community’s help to halt massacre of Palestinians

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of the PML-N has emphasized the urgent need for the international community to intervene and halt the massacre of Palestinians.

In a statement on Sunday, she underlined the collective responsibility of justice-seeking and humanitarian individuals worldwide to put an end to the bloodshed of innocent civilians.

The barbaric bombing of unarmed and besieged Palestinians is a clear violation of international law, constituting a war crime, she hinted, asserting that attacks on hospitals, humanitarian caravans, and civilian populations were far from the actions of brave and law-abiding nations.

Expressing the deep anger among the people of the Islamic world over the tragic events unfolding in Palestine, Maryam Nawaz Sharif called upon the leadership of Islamic countries to represent the aspirations of their populations.

“The Islamic world should play a role in establishing peace, a just solution to the Palestinian conflict, and helping the besieged Palestinians,” she added.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the immediate provision of essential supplies, such as food and medicine, to the Palestinians facing dire circumstances.
