HAFIZABAD: A man sustained critical injuries when his friend slit his throat with a sickle over a monetary dispute of Rs100 in Hafizabad on Sunday.

According to police, Abbas, a resident of Mohalla Sharifpura, Hafizabad, had borrowed Rs100 from his friend Amanat who slit the throat of Abbas with a sickle during a brawl between them over return of the money. Abbas was injured critically and rushed to Hafizabad Trauma Centre.
