Mainly hot, dry weather expected in Country

QUETTA: Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast that on Saturday, hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Weather remained hot and dry in other parts of the country.

Rainfall (mm): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kakul 27, Parachinar 06, Malam Jabba 04, Kalam 02, Punjab: Chakwal 21, Attock 12, Noorpurthal 07, Joharabad 05, Murree 04, Islamabad (Saidpur 04, Airport 03, Zero Point 02), Lahore Airport, Sargodha 02, Gujarat, Mangala, Hafizabad 01, Kashmir: Muzaffarabad (City, Airport 07), Rawalakot 01, Gilgit Baltistan: Bagrote 06, Astore 03, Gupis 02, Bunji and Gilgit recorded 01.

Yesterday’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Jacobabad 43, Mohenjo-dharo, Sakrand, Chhor, Rohri, Mithi, Khanpur and Rahim Yar Khan 42.
