LPG prices slashed by Rs 37 per kg

ISLAMABAD:The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been reduced by Rs 37 per kg across the country, as per new notification.

According to the notification, the new price for imported LPG has been fixed at Rs 197 per kg, reflecting a significant reduction. Additionally, the price of domestic cylinders has been decreased by Rs 438.

In response to the price adjustment, Irfan Khokhar, Chairman of the LPG Dealers Association, stated that the commercial cylinder price has been reduced by Rs 1,686. As per the new rates, the domestic cylinder will be sold for Rs 2,322, while the commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 8,933.

Furthermore, the Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, has also announced the revised prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days. The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 8 per litre, bringing it down to Rs 262 per litre.

In addition to the reduction in petrol prices, the government has announced a decrease of Rs 5 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel, with the new rate being Rs 253 per litre. The price of light diesel has also been reduced by Rs 5 per litre. However, the price of kerosene remains unchanged.

These revised prices will take effect from 12 pm today. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has assured the public that the government is committed to providing all possible facilities to the people, including affordable fuel prices.
