Lotte Kolson’s 11 Products Deemed Unfit for Human Consumption: SFA

The Director General of the Sindh Food Authority (SFA), Muzamil Hussain Halepoto, has announced that eleven products from Lotte Kolson have been found unfit for human consumption following rigorous laboratory testing. These products include:

– Slanty Vegetable

– Snackers Hot Masala

– Snackers Pizza

– Twitch Classic

– Potato Sticks

– Cheese Ball Masala

– Cheese Balls Cheese

– Kai Korean Hot

– Kai Spicy Mala

– Kai Mala Wok

– Kai Korean Kimchi

In light of these findings, DG SFA Muzamil Hussain Halepoto has issued a directive to the management of Lotte Kolson, requiring the immediate withdrawal of these products from the market within three days. Failure to comply with this directive will result in legal action against the company under the SFA Act.

Muzamil Hussain Halepoto emphasized that this decisive action is being taken to safeguard public health and prevent any potential health risks associated with the consumption of these products. He stated, “The safety and well-being of the public are our utmost priorities. These measures are essential to ensure that only safe and healthy food products are available to consumers.”

Furthermore, DG SFA has called upon other provincial food authorities to take similar steps within their jurisdictions to ensure the protection of public health. He urged them to conduct thorough inspections and take appropriate actions to prevent the distribution and sale of any potentially harmful food products.
