KHUZDAR: Levies Force Khuzdar Tuesday claimed to have foiled the bid to smuggle four kilograms of high quality heroin in an operation conducted in Khuzdar area of Balochistan. One alleged accused was also arrested during the operation.

In compliance with the directives of Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar, Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai, a levies force team under the supervision of Naib Tehsildar Habib Gichki seized four kilograms of high-quality heroin from the hidden cavities of vehicle No. AYQ-602 in an operation conducted at Levies check post in Zawa.

One alleged accused namely Khalid Ahmed, son of Abdul Hameed, a resident of Kalat, was arrested and later booked in First Information Report No 20/22 under section 9/C. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities levies force.
