ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Vice Chairman Hafeezur Rehman Chaudhry and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon are convening a joint meeting of the representative bodies of the federal and the provincial bar councils as well as the high court bar associations on March 16 here at the SCBA premises.

The joint meeting is being convened in the wake of the ‘growing political unrest’ in the country. The meeting will discuss the prevailing political situation and devise a strategy to protect and strengthen the constitutional and democratic system of the country.
