The Lahore Zoo will be open to the public on Eid, allowing children to explore and enjoy.
According to a report, young visitors will have the opportunity to see new animals and explore the reconstructed buildings and cages of animals in the zoo.
DG Wildlife Mudassar Riaz announced that the zoo would be opened with limited facilities and designated viewing points as construction on the premises of the renovated zoo was continued. Visitors will be able to see new birds, animals, lions, and tigers in their new cages.
Although the construction contract for the Lahore Zoo was for two years but 80 per cent of the work has been completed in just six months. The zoo was closed for upgradation on November 7, 2023, and all its animals and birds including lions and tigers were shifted to Safari Park in Lahore.
