LAHORE:A magistrate court in Lahore Sunday reserved its verdict on a plea from the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) seeking former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi’s physical remand in a case of illegal appointments in the Punjab Assembly during his stint as chief minister of the province.
According to a report, PTI President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was presented before the court by ACE officials amid tight security after he was re-arrested for the third time in three days on Saturday. Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Virk was hearing ACE’s request for Elahi’s physical remand.
