A loss of 137 billion rupees has been recorded in the electricity against the power supplied worth 439 billion rupees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last fiscal year.

This was stated by Secretary Power Rashid Langrial in a post on X.

He said total collection was 302 billion rupees, whereas a loss of 75 billion rupees was noted in five districts. He, however, said that 152 billion rupees were collected from four districts of the province.

The Secretary said a loss of less than five percent was observed in five districts, while seven districts posted a loss of more than 75 percent.
