A delegation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Group visited Radio Pakistan in Islamabad today (Wednesday) and held a meeting with Director General Muhammad Asim Khichi.

Talking to the delegation, the DG Radio Pakistan said the National Broadcaster is effectively playing its role to counter anti Pakistan propaganda. He said Radio Pakistan is also adopting latest technology in order to further its outreach and provide quality content to its listeners.

The delegation appreciated the role being played by Radio Pakistan for projecting and defending the national narrative. The delegation members acknowledged that Radio Pakistan is playing an important role in creating awareness amongst the masses on different issues.

Later, the delegation members visited different sections of Radio Pakistan including the National News room,Social media cell and programs where they were briefed about the working of these departments.
