Kohsar Complex Overhaul Ordered Amid Safety Concerns

Minister orders immediate improvements to the Kohsar Complex, citing urgent safety, cleanliness, and functionality issues. The facility, which accommodates various government institutions, needs an upgrade to reflect the stature of the organizations it houses, according to the Minister.

A supervisory committee, composed of representatives from the relevant ministries, has been formed to oversee the renovation project. This group will work directly with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to track repairs, maintenance, and ensure timely project completion and financial openness.

The Minister also directed the allocation of specific parking spaces to ease traffic congestion within the complex. He emphasized the need for maintaining a hygienic and secure atmosphere for employees and guests.

This endeavor underscores the Ministry of Maritime Affairs’ dedication to boosting inter-agency cooperation and elevating operational benchmarks. The CDA, collaborating closely with the oversight committee, is anticipated to commence work promptly.
