KARACHI:The Information, Printing and Media Management department of KMC organized a farewell ceremony on Thursday on the retirement of Additional Director Zeenat Baloch and Senior Clerk Israr Nabi, in which former Director Media Management Bashir Saddozai, Sattar Javed and Project Director Orangi Rizwan Khan, Additional Director Abdul Khaliq also participated with other retired officers of the department.
Addressing the ceremony, Senior Director Information, Printing and Media Management Ali Hassan Sajid said that the success of any organization depends on the performance of the officers and other employees working there, especially the information and public relations sector is important as it has to perform his duties while keeping up with the modern requirements of communication.
The Department of Information, Printing and Media Management of KMC has always tried to fulfill its responsibilities in an efficient manner. On the retirement of any staff member a farewell function is held in their honor to appreciate their services to the organization and to encourage the serving employee.
Today’s ceremony is also a recognition of the services of Additional Director Zeenat Baloch and Senior Clerk Israr Nabi, who have served for a long time in the department and this tradition should continue, all possible efforts should be made for the development and improvement of the organization we represent and only dutiful and hardworking staff can make KMC an active institution for which the motivation of qualified employees holds much importance, he expressed good wishes for Additional Director Zeenat Baloch and Senior Clerk Israr Nabi and presented a shield and certificate of appreciation to them.
Expressing her thoughts on this occasion, Additional Director Zeenat Baloch thanked the Department of Information, Printing and Media Management for making her retirement memorable and said that she considers it an honor to work in this department.
Addressing the function, former Director of Media Management Department, Bashir Saddozai said that it is an obligatory tradition to hold a farewell function for the staff on retirement and the departments that maintain it deserve congratulations, he said that such initiatives motivate the employees and inculcates their commitment to work.
Inviting the former Directors, Additional Directors and Deputy Directors of the department to the farewell function is a reminder that the Department of Information, Printing and Media Management has remembered their services to the department.
Project Director Orangi Rizwan Khan also addressed the ceremony and while appreciating the services of the retired employees expressed hope that these officers and employees will continue to play an active role in every field of life in the future as well.
