Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government unveiled the “Roshan Mustaqbil Card” and “Sahara Card” during a ceremony aimed at providing financial assistance to orphaned children and widows. Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur honored the event and distributed the cards to the beneficiaries on Tuesday.
The Roshan Mustaqbil Card is designed to support orphaned children aged 5 to 16, offering a monthly allowance of 5,000 rupees. Initially, this initiative will benefit 9,000 orphaned children. Meanwhile, the Sahara Card targets widowed women aged 45 and above, also providing a monthly allowance of 5,000 rupees. At present, 15,000 widows are set to receive this financial aid.
These programs are structured to ensure timely assistance, with funds being distributed by the 5th of each month, marking a significant step in social welfare for vulnerable groups in the region.
