QUETTA: Farah Azeem Shah, Spokesperson for provincial government, while strongly condemning the criticism of Khuwaja Asif on government of Balochistan, has said that the incumbent provincial government under the leadership of Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had played a role to resolve Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, she said that measures adopted by the incumbent provincial government regarding Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project would not only benefit Balochistan but would also benefit Pakistan. “Khuwaja Asif and others should be thankful to the government of Balochistan to have addressed the issue of Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project”, said Shah, adding that such unnecessary statements might bring bad name to Balochistan, leaving thereby negative impacts on Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.

She said people of Balochistan had always been kept deprived from the fruition of development, adding that solely development of Quetta did not mean development rather development of small cities and towns of the province should have been the main target. She added that those who came upto the expectations of the people of the province would be considered as real representative of the province, adding that after assuming the charge of the post of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus represented not only Balochistan but also Pakistan by addressing the issue of Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.
