The Minister for Forests, Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Akmal Sargala, has stated that the Azad Kashmir government is committed to ongoing development and prioritizing public welfare projects without discrimination.
Speaking to journalists, he emphasized that his government’s priorities include good governance, and restoring merit in public institutions. He highlighted that Kashmiris are fighting for their survival and existence, having sacrificed everything for the freedom movement. Despite curfews, Indian aggression, and oppression, Kashmiris continue to bury their martyred children wrapped in the Pakistani flag, which symbolizes their deep connection and love for Pakistan.
The minister expressed gratitude towards the Pakistani people and civil society for their unwavering support and affection toward Kashmiris. He further stated that the bond between Pakistan and Kashmir is unbreakable.
‘Kashmiris have never accepted the illegal occupation of India, neither 74 years ago nor after recent Indian aggression. Despite all oppressive measures, Kashmiris remain steadfast in their struggle for the right to self-determination, and they will achieve it. No matter what India does, Kashmiris will snatch their freedom,’ he said.
He noted that the mission of the Kashmiri freedom struggle is to see the state of Jammu and Kashmir annexed with Pakistan, a cause for which countless martyrs have made sacrifices. These sacrifices, he said, will not go in vain. He added that India’s belief in crushing Kashmiris by force is a misconception
