Kashmiris face worst human rights violations

The Indian government’s draconian policies have led to unabated human rights violations in Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir with Kashmiris facing systemic discrimination, marginalization, and brutal suppression.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Monday, the occupied territory has been turned into the world’s largest militarized zone, with killings, torture, and arbitrary detentions becoming the norm.

Since the revocation of IIOJK’s special status on August 5, 2019, the Modi regime has intensified its repressive tactics, suppressing legitimate aspirations for self-determination. The unresolved Kashmir dispute, spanning decades, is directly connected to the ongoing human rights violations.
