Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has paid rich tribute to prominent leader of Kashmir freedom movement, Raees-ul-Ahrar Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas on his death anniversary.

According to Kashmir Media Service report on Mnday, APHC leaders in their separate statements in Srinagar described Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas as a shining star of Kashmir’s freedom movement. They said that accession of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan was the mission of Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas for which he struggled till his last breath.

They said, Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas from the earliest days of his youth, worked tirelessly for freedom of the Muslims of the subcontinent, especially the Kashmiris, from the oppression of the British and the Dogras and played an important role in the Kashmir freedom movement and remained committed to this mission.

The leaders reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the struggle for right to self-determination till it reached its logical conclusion.

Meanwhile, the Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Mahmood Ahmad Saghar and other leaders, including Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Sheikh Abdul Mateen ,Syed Faiz Naqasbandi, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Rafiq Ahmed Dar, Altaf Hussain Wani, Shameem Shawl, Mir Tahir Masood, Sanaullah Dar ,Syed Aijaz Rehmani, Hasan al Bana, Adv Parvaiz Ahmed, Imtiaz Ahmed Wani, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Zahid Safi, Adeel Mushtaq, Kifayat Rizvi, Zahid Ashraf, Nisar Mirza, Engr Mehmood Mushtaq, Mohammad Yaqoob Sheikh, Mohammad Sultan Butt, Ishfaq Balwal, Abdul Majeed , Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Zahid Mushtaq Geelani, Dawood Khan, Gulshan Ahmed, Mohammad Shafi Dar, Raja Shaheen, Altaf Ahmed Bhat, Mian Muzaffar, Mohammad Ashraf Dar, Shiekh Abdul Majid and Qazi Imran, in their statements in Islamabad described Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas as a shining star of Kashmir’s freedom movement. APHC-AJK Convener, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the struggle for right to self-determination till it reached its logical conclusion.
